Moonlight

As darkness fully engulfs my aching body

I imagine your arms squeezing me tightly

Hoping that my dream would turn into reality

But all I could hear is the moon whispering zero possibility.

  1. Oh Yeah. It’s been menacing this planet for a long time. Think about all the love songs that include the Moon and our need to visit it. It just makes fun of us and messes with our oceans. “By the light of the silvery moon…” it’s watching and judging all the time.

    1. That is a very nice and interesting observation. You made me think of Pink Floyd. :3 It also happens I like a song called “Goodnight, Moon.” 😀 Don’t you find the moon beautiful?

      1. I do. I also find it very intriguing, though I like to tease. While growing up I hoped by now that humans would be established on the moon. I hope to see that soon. I’m a big fan of sci-fi books and movies and have big hope that we will populate the solar system soon. I’ve been a fan of Pink Floyd since I was very young. Even after they broke up I enjoyed the music of Roger Waters and David Gilmore. They really had an impact on my musical tastes.

          1. That’s a tough one. I like them all. Their use of atmospheric sound a with rock and roll beat is really cool to me. Most of their albums were one story and not chopped up for radio. I used to put the head phones on and fall asleep to dark side of the moon. -after the bells. I listened to the Wall last weekend and usually have Wish you were here, Meddle, Animals and Final Cut close at hand.
