If anyone has read my previous blog posts, I mentioned that I was going to Singapore for a day or two to visit my friend before she heads back to Switzerland. Well, I hadn’t quite explored the city because I did not have enough time, but I could say that I had so much fun spending time with Monika, her friends and aunt.
It’s crazy how the stamps show that I arrived in Singapore on the 5th of September, and left on the sixth.
The trip from Manila to Singapore and vice versa usually takes three and a half hours. I left Manila on the 5th at 5:15 AM and arrived in Singapore at 8:45 AM.
Monika knows that I really love kiwi fruit and anything that is kiwi flavored, so she made me try this kiwi juice. Unfortunately, the ice melted and it made the juice taste bland.
In the evening, I had a chance to explore Little India by myself before heading to the place where I was supposed to meet Monika and Christin.
Cherries and pomegranates were sold cheaply on the sidewalk.
Christin and I had the back of our right hand henna tattooed.
We met Monika’s friend, Jurgen, before dinner and went clubbing after that. 😀
I went back to the hostel Monika got me at five in the morning. I went to bed at six, but I also woke up around eight in the morning. I had breakfast with a fellow Filipina I met at the hostel.
Interesting art though.
We went to see the Merlion and admired Marina Bay Sands from a far. 😀
We also went to the Botanic Garden to do some photo shoots.
I tried the durian juice before heading back to the airport, and it was amazing. We saw this giant durian fruit at the Changi airport. 😀
Our last selfie together! 🙁
Watch our weekend’s summary in a video! 🙂
