#LOTD: On The Street

by

When my friend, Monika, visited me in Manila last August, I was one of her lucky guinea pigs (inside joke). She’s a budding artist and a portrait photographer, and so, when I took her out to see some places I like in Manila, she and I did a little photo shoot on the street. Here are some of the photos:

I was happy I was wearing my favorite shirt that day, but oh man, I looked so messed up. I was sweating so much and I smelled like sea salt. 😛 But anyway, I’ve always admired how good Monika is as a photographer. She’s very patient and lively!

I was happy that we also had a chance to have a photo of both of us taken, courtesy of a passerby. 😀

What do you think of these photos? Monika blogs at Destination Humanity. If you can spare some time, please check out her amazing blog. Thank you so much in advance!

Thank you for dropping by!

Lovingly,

  • Awesome! I love it, especially with such a radiant smile 🙂

    • Haha! You’re spoiling me with your sweet words. One day, I won’t be able to get through the day without hearing it! 😛

      • I’ll just have to keep reminding you then won’t I ^.^/

        • Just remember that one day, when you stop, I’ll be linking this post to your feed! HAHAHA 😛

          • ~Looks at the posts~ hum…wait…~looks around~ neup..~looks again~ Sarreh I don’t see it? 😛

  • Good to know you like Pink Floyd!!! 🙂

    • I grew up with my dad listening to them almost all the time. Haha! Does this mean you love them, too???

  • Diana, these are GREAT photos … I don’t know you in person, but they feel natural and honest, like they’re capturing your essence. 🙂 Photographs by a friend are special and intimate… Hope you treasure these!! 🙂

  • I would like to see you do a LOTD of the outfit you had on when you announced your Sunshine Blogger Award. I know you already did the flannel but with the white T and black print, the look is great. The photo quality is amazing. Is that where you work in Manila???

    • I’ve actually repeated wearing that flannel multiple times and I am afraid everyone’s getting tired of seeing it. Haha! It’s my favorite flannel. It’s a very old Burberry classic nova check button down and it’s been with me for ten years. Thank you, I get excited when talking about this. Haha! This is near Manila Bay, thirty minutes away from where I work. 🙂

      • I have a flannel too but it is very old. Back from the Grunge days of Nirvana, STP, etc… It’s a keepsake. The collar is all frayed.
